Shows, calls and deadlines
Every show and open call with its dates, works and fees, and a reminder before each deadline and drop-off.
We built this first for Sara Paula Hoffman, a visual artist we call Paula.
In use for Paula since October 2026 · instead of CaFE’s tracker, a wall calendar
01 · How it works
How it works
Every show, past and coming, is recorded with its dates and the works in it. Whether a show is coming, on view or past is read from its dates, never set by hand, and each work’s page lists where it has hung.
Open calls are recorded the same way, with the fee, the juror, the rules and the works you’d send. Before each deadline, result and drop-off, you get a reminder.
02 · What you get
What you get
- Every show and its works, on your site
- Each work’s page listing where it has hung
- Open calls with fees, jurors and the works to send
- A reminder before each deadline and drop-off
03 · For Paula
How it has run for Paula
October 2026: her shows listed on her site, each work’s page saying where it has hung.
October 19, 2026: she entered three open calls and recorded each one in her studio, with the works she sent.
The whole story is in her case study.
04 · What it doesn’t do
What it doesn’t do
Entering a call is still done on the call’s own site.
05 · Goes with
What it goes with
- One catalog behind everything: Each work is recorded once, with its size, medium, price and where it has hung. Your site, price sheets, shop feed and search listings are all made from that record, so a price changed there changes everywhere.
- A daily check on works in galleries: Every morning, each work you’ve left with a gallery to sell (on consignment) is checked against that gallery’s own listing: still there, still at the same price, or sold.
- A studio page for your answers: A private page where you answer questions, confirm what we write about you and approve each week’s post.
We start with your works and your prices, and add the rest a step at a time. All thirteen services.
