A daily check on works in galleries
Every morning, each work you’ve left with a gallery to sell (on consignment) is checked against that gallery’s own listing: still there, still at the same price, or sold.
We built this first for Sara Paula Hoffman, a visual artist we call Paula.
In use for Paula since August 2026
01 · How it works
How it works
Every morning, each work you’ve left with a gallery to sell (on consignment) is checked against that gallery’s own listing: still listed, still priced the same, or sold.
When something changes, you hear about it, so you’re not the last to learn that a work sold or a price moved.
02 · What you get
What you get
- A daily check of every gallery listing
- An email when a work sells or its price changes
- A work’s price raised by the gallery’s commission while it hangs there
03 · For Paula
How it has run for Paula
August 2026: the daily check began, reading LeMieux Galleries’ listing of her works each morning.
September 2026: her show at LeMieux closed, and her works went back to her own prices.
The whole story is in her case study.
04 · What it doesn’t do
What it doesn’t do
It reads what a gallery publishes. A sale a gallery doesn’t list, it can’t see.
05 · Goes with
What it goes with
- Prices from your own formula: Your prices come from your own formula, worked out the same way every time: a rate for each inch of size, plus materials, then a markup for framing, placement and care. When a gallery sells a work, its commission is added to that price.
- Shows, calls and deadlines: Every show and open call with its dates, works and fees, and a reminder before each deadline and drop-off.
- Offers first, a cart for the shop: A buyer makes an offer on the work’s page, starting from the asking price, and it reaches you by email. While the work hangs in a gallery show, offers go to that gallery instead. Works in your Facebook and Instagram shop can also be bought at once by card.
We start with your works and your prices, and add the rest a step at a time. All thirteen services.
